# IFO utility IFO is built to be used inside InfraIO Pay. At TGE it has three uses. > **Note:** > > **Coming soon.** Utility goes live at the token generation event (TGE). > Fee discounts never reduce the effective fee below the **0.20% floor**. > See [Pricing & fees](https://docs.infraio.xyz/en/concepts/pricing). ## Stake for a lower fee Stake IFO to reduce the platform fee on your payments. | Staked IFO | Platform fee discount | | --- | --- | | 1,000 IFO | −10% | | 5,000 IFO | −20% | | 20,000 IFO | −30% | Unstaking has a **30-day cooldown**. The discount applies on top of your volume tier. ## Pay fees with IFO Pay your platform fees in IFO to get an extra **−20%** on the fee. This stacks with staking and with prepaid credit, within the 0.20% floor. ## Rewards in IFO Merchant and [referral](https://docs.infraio.xyz/en/concepts/referral) rewards can be paid in IFO. ## Your IFO balance You can deposit IFO to and withdraw IFO from your InfraIO Pay account. This balance is separate from [prepaid credit](https://docs.infraio.xyz/en/concepts/credit), which is not money and cannot be withdrawn.
