# Pricing & fees

InfraIO Pay is free to start: **no monthly fee, no setup fee**. You pay a
platform fee only on payments that settle. The fee rate depends on how
much volume you have settled recently, so it drops automatically as you grow.

## Volume tiers

The tier is chosen from your **settled volume over the last 30 days**, in USD.

| Settled volume (rolling 30 days) | Platform fee |
| --- | --- |
| Below $50,000 | **0.5%** |
| $50,000 – $250,000 | **0.4%** |
| $250,000 and above | **0.3%** |

> **Note:**
>
> **The fee is locked when the payment is created.** The rate shown on a
> checkout session or payment link is the rate that applies to that payment,
> even if you cross a tier boundary before the buyer pays.

## Stackable discounts

On top of the volume tier you can reduce the fee further. Discounts stack,
but the effective fee never goes below the **0.20% floor**.

| Discount | Effect |
| --- | --- |
| **IFO staking** | −10% / −20% / −30% of the fee when you stake 1,000 / 5,000 / 20,000 IFO. See [IFO utility](https://docs.infraio.xyz/en/token/utility). |
| **Pay fees with IFO** | −20% of the fee when the fee is paid in IFO. |
| **Prepaid credit** | Fees can be paid from your prepaid credit balance. See [Prepaid credit](https://docs.infraio.xyz/en/concepts/credit). |

> **Note:**
>
> **Coming soon.** IFO staking and paying fees with IFO become available at
> the IFO token generation event (TGE). See the [IFO token](https://docs.infraio.xyz/en/token/overview).

## What the fee is not

- It is not a custody or withdrawal fee. Funds go directly to your treasury wallet.
- The network fee (gas) paid by the buyer is separate from the platform fee.
- There is no per-seat, per-API-call or monthly subscription charge.
